As Americans the likelihood of seeing a soccer match in the past four years is minimal, but what have you been doing for the World Cup?

Soccer is boring. That’s right, I said what you all were thinking. So, rather than pretending like I enjoy sitting through 2 hours (or more… I don’t really know how long a soccer game lasts. The one and only soccer game I watched was a Chicago Fire game and they kept adding time on at the end) of soccer, I am just going to continue on with my daily life and watch summer TV Hits like Master Chef and Extreme Weight Loss.

Watching my friends from across the seas tweet various combinations of other countries’ names. It’s like a slow-mo version of the Animaniac’s Nations of the World song. Honestly, I’ve felt like a muggle at the Quidditch World Cup this week.

You are correct, I am American, therefore, I don’t watch very much soccer. I did happen to see the USA’s winning goal Monday night while I was waiting for the bus outside of a bar. There was a lot of great energy right after that goal that got me excited to see the next game. Which I expect to dissipate quickly after an hr of watching the ball just getting kicked around with no goals.

If we were to play a “Where’s Waldo” with you this past weekend, where would we most likely find you: Spring Awakening, Blues Fest, or Carmageddon?

Kim P

None of the above. I don’t know which is worse – high-waisted denim shorts and crop tops (HELLO! NO ONE LOOKS GOOD IN HIGH WAISTED SHORTS. STOP IT.) that girls insist on wearing to every music festival ever or idiots who can’t drive. No, I was doing old people things like going to work picnics and retirement parties.

How about Couchmageddon? After binging on Orange is the New Black, I felt the need to revisit other titles in my Netflix queue.

Because of my career choice, I won’t have a life until after I take the life draining exam next week. I did have a Father’s Day brunch at a Brazilian steakhouse. Nothing like having various men continuously coming up to you presenting their meat for your choosing (so pretty much my standard weekend).

Say JAT was having a BBQ, and you got to bring one delicious item, what would it be?

I make a delicious “skinny” taco dip that tastes good and won’t make you feel guilty when you put on your crop top.

Meats, with various potions and lotions to enhance the experience. And of course I’d be manning the grill.

I probably just bring off brand chips and soda. That way it will look like I contributed to the BBQ without having to spend much AND you get to feast on the better food other people brought. — Mooch Tip #57

What summer blockbuster are you most excited for?

Isn’t there a new Transformers movie coming out or something? I probably won’t see it, but I have been looking forward to The Fault In Our Stars since like January.

I really want to see 22 jump street.. Which I know already came out but I won’t have time to see it for another week. Also, because I am a Marvel and Parks and Rec fan I also want to see Guardians of the Galaxy. I have never heard of this story before in my life but the previews look really good. Also, am curious to see how Chris Pratt (plays Andy from Parks and Rec) fares out in space.
