“So if you make a movie that is completely fictional, it can still get pulled from premiering if another country doesn’t like it? Ah, OK. For some reason we thought living in the United States of America, you know, the land of the free, home of the brave, a country where free speech is our right, would not allow a dictator from another country across the world to call the shots. Guess we were wrong because that is exactly what happened.
In Seth Rogan and James Franco’s new movie, “The Interview,” they plot how to assassin the (dictator) supreme leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-Un. Being the great guy he is, it’s been speculated he is behind the “Guardians of Peace,” a group that has hacked into Sony and released numerous emails between employees who were discussing the darker side of the entertainment world. This is the same group that threatened any movie theatre who allows this movie to play could be subjected to 9/11 type acts.
Wow-wi, should we just bend over and take it up the a** from Jong-Un too just because he said so? Come on USA, be the great country that we are, the who doesn’t back down to anyone for any reason, especially a movie.
