Question Chicago

What advice do you have for the Chicago Blackhawks going into game 7?

Kim P

Kim P.

One word of advice: Win. If they fail to do that after Saturday’s game then ask me again next week. I’ll have to think about it.

Ashley B.

Ashley B.

Um… win?

I always think Mother’s advice is always good. “As long as you do your best, win or lose we will still be proud of you”.  Actually, in this case I am going to go with the tough love approach… So my advice is, “You better win tomorrow or don’t bother coming back home!”

Molly K.

Molly K.

Um…try to win in regulation time so we can all go to bed before 2AM?

What makes you purr like a kitten?

Kim P

Kim P.

Chocolate cake. Specifically the chocolate cake I had last weekend at the bakery where I went cake tasting.

Ashley B.

Ashley B.

Things I’d rather not commit to print.

Angelo B.

Angelo B.

The smells and sounds of bacon cooking.

Molly K.

Molly K.

That’s none of your goddamn business and I’ll thank you to stay out of my personal affairs.

When it comes to Disney characters, who reigns supreme?

Kim with the rings

Kim P.

Hmm. This is a tough one. At this very moment I am going to go with the old man from Up because he was a grouch who hated people and I like that quality in people.

Ashley B.

Ashley B.

You know me, I could talk about Disney for days. So, the short answer: Kuzco is the best Disney princess.

Angelo B.

Angelo B.

I was always a fan of Aladdin.  He was basically a homeless person that married into a rich and royal family, definitely my role model.

Molly K.

Molly K.

I am really equally torn between the obvious choices (Mulan, Merida) and some of the stronger, less obvious female characters. You know who doesn’t get a lot of recognition? Meg from Hercules. She was fun. And what about the side characters? I mean who doesn’t love Gaston?

Who has the best BBQ in the city?

Kim with the rings

Kim P.

Hmm, I hear Smoque has really good BBQ, but I’ve never been. Can I say the Patio? It’s not really in the city, but it’s still delicious.

Ashley B.

Ashley B.

Smoque. There’s nothing funny to say, that is some damn fine brisket they do there.

Angelo B.

Angelo B.

Bub city has been my favorite so far.

Molly K.

Molly K.

I don’t know if I’ve had enough barbecue to actually warrant a well-formulated opinion, but I’m gonna go with Chuck’s in Burbank. It may not be in the city, but it’s close enough, and worth the trip.
